Myali Nonde
Chief Executive Officer
Myali is an astute Insurer with over 21 years of experience in the insurance industry. Myali was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Discover Insurance in 2022. She is responsible for the company’s success and oversees its various functions, including operations, finance, sales, human resources, compliance and technology, while balancing the needs of employees, customers, shareholders and other stakeholders. Prior to this, Myali worked in various senior positions in the insurance industry including in insurance brokering, underwriting and business development. Myali also serves on the company’s Board as Executive Director.

Nachi Musonda
Deputy Managing Director – Strategy
Nachi is an incisive insurer and a qualified finance professional with over 15 years experience in the insurance industry. Nachi has held top leadership positions in the insurance industry including Chief Executive Officer, and General Manager-Corporate respectively. Nachi a well-established and recognized Insurer is in charge of the business and operational Strategy of Discover Insurance, covering both strategic underwriting & claims including business development. As lead for the business development team, he is also responsible for creating feasible and profitable long-term goals for the company. Nachi who is a Certified Investment Advisor also serves as a member of the company’s EXCO on Finance & Investments.

Richard Lubemba
Deputy Managing Director – Risk
Richard is a seasoned insurer with a great eye for technical risk management. He is a well-established and recognized underwriter and has worked in various senior positions in the insurance industry including Regional Manager, and General Manager-Technical respectively. Richard has over 14 years experience leading underwriting teams in achieving underwriting profits for a number of insurance companies. Richard a renowned Insurer is in charge of overall risk management at Discover Insurance, covering both the technical underwriting and reinsurance policy. Richard is also a member of the company’s EXCO on Risk & Audit.
